The Adirondack Center for Writing Writers' Resources For information about opportunities for regional writers, both established and aspiring, go to Grant and Scholarship Information. The Adirondack Writers' Resource Guide is a very useful tool, bringing regional writers, presenting organizations, and audiences together. Go to ACW Resource Guide to submit an entry, or for information on how to obtain a copy Poets & Writers, both through their magazine and their web site, is a fantastic resource for all writers. Check their web site regularly to get information on grants, scholarships, residencies, and market trends:Poets and Writers MagazineOther Resources Part of the Adirondack Center for Writing's mission is to unify the literary community that is spread throught this six-million-acre Park. Our Adirondack Writers' Resource Guide and our membership structure are two ways we hope to acheive this goal. Another way we hope to serve as a resource is to bring writers with similar needs together. If you are a writer in search of a writing group, an author looking for an editor, or a new publisher that needs help getting the word out about your press, let us know and we will post your request for you. Trade services, not money. Interested only in "literary" fiction. Editorial exchange also possible. The UNUSUAL SUSPECTS, mystery writers' support group meets at the Saratoga Springs Public Library on Henry Street once a month on Thursdays, summer and winter hours vary. This group offers positive critique to published or as-yet-to-be-published authors in the mystery genre.
